Yeh then we can have an arrest warrant issued for he and his wife! That will get some publicity!

Haha yeah that's why I brought up Iowa. Mrs. McCaffrey might want to stay at home if we ever got that one.

We've been so MAAC heavy in our schedule the last two years, can't we get some more A-10 teams, like Mason and VCU in the house? If we had one or two A-10 caliber teams at the Mack, plus a game at Coliseum, we would have a strong OOC annually. Can Joe use his coaching contacts to get someone like Iowa in the building?
The A10 and MAAC are both having their second consecutive worse than usual season. Other than the Big East, ACC, Big Ten, and AAC, the top conference with teams in at least one of NY, NJ, or CT this season is the Mid-American if you count Buffalo, followed by the Ivy League. Instead of four MAAC teams and none from the Ivy, Hofstra could play two against each. I would see if Buffalo would be willing to play us every season alternating sites. Buffalo could go to us and another team in the area. We could go to Buffalo along with another upstate team like Canisius, Niagara, Syracuse, Colgate, or St. Bonaventure; or to a western Pennsylvania or eastern Ohio team like Duquesne, Cleveland State, Youngstown State, or Akron.

They had Jay Artinian get back to me. We had a good chat. Hope to see some results soon!

Just got an e-mail from Mike Neely; the Feb 9th game has limited tickets left. Also they are offering to take any tickets you aren't going to use from that game and give you tickets to another game. Sounds like we can expect a sell out for that game.

Hm, why is that bad? Don't like the color?

I'm good with stuff like that - although frankly to me, just sell the place out lol - big time crowd is most important

Interest is growing thankfully, finally - should have some good crowds - if the streak continues, the attention will get even bigger, and I think we'll see some very strong environments and support to close out the season.

Let's pack out the 9th - will be GREAT to have the students back, and I think with the attention they will actually show.

It's just a gimmick that doesn't really draw any interest. They'd be lucky if half the crowd wears white, and it makes it look even more disorganized.

Don't schools normally provide the t-shirt for something like that?

Budget-wise, white is a smart choice :-)

I think the school announced that they will give away shirts to the first 1,000 students and the first 1,000 fans. Thats almost half.

I might go February 9 if I buy tickets in time. I have a code to buy one ticket and get one free for any one game. The problem is that if a person wants three or more tickets together, the website doesn't let you buy two or more and get one free. I could try explaining and doing that over the phone.
