Re: Looking Ahead to 2020-2021 season
I like how the non-conf is shaping up for the most part... I think 2 is fine for CA, but I'd like to see another Louisiana team on the docket with the LSU trip - plenty of options, Tulane, La Tech, ULL, Nichols St, Mcnesse St... HU87, all good, love the double-ing down on ST...all in approach eh!! ...

Re: Looking Ahead to 2020-2021 season
Nothing personal but c'mon if Trueheart is the key to our success wow we're in trouble. Stafford I believe backs up Cramer and is an important(potentially) part of the team. Please totally forget about him as a scorer he's a very poor 3 point shooter. His value is size, shot blocking, experience, a...

Re: Looking Ahead to 2020-2021 season
Love your depth chart RP-- putting below again for analysis. 1: Cowart/Burgess/Bethea/Masic 2: Ray/Silverio 3: Coburn/Green 4: Trueheart/Cramer 5: Kante/Schutte I see Ray taking a huge jump this year-- it's his turn. I can see 18-20 points a game, if not more... along with all-CAA defensive team. Ma...

Re: MBB Recruits 2020
Really high quality player if he's healthy. Shot the three really well before his injury in his Junior year. That list of schools he's considering should say it all.
BUT, do we need more guards for this year? He's a one and done...

Re: MBB Recruits 2020
Agreed with above... I think we have our squad for next season and would hope we use the last scholarship on a high-impact transfer who needs to sit a year. I'd love another P5 center who can come in with 3 years of eligibility and learn from Kante/Schutte. I think we're all underestimating Schutte ...

Re: MBB Recruits 2020
We have about 7 years of stats on Joe's style and approach. We've never played two 5's together, even with Hunter and Rokas, which would have been our best bet. I don't have personal/inside knowledge, but everything points to the idea that Joe is committed to playing some version of a "4 out&qu...

Re: Looking Ahead to 2020-2021 season
I think that's the right starting 5, with the only other possibility being Trueheart starting at the 4 over Cramer.
It's a good roster, but how is it relative to the rest of the league? Who (besides Delaware) will be bringing in a top 4 roster next season?

Re: MBB Recruits 2020
You guys might have read my post(s) with the wrong context... no hesitations here! In fact, I compared him to Jayson Tatum ! lol. Only potential areas of interest we brought up is that, for a 6'7'' guy, it's hard to find many highlights of dunks/blocks/interior dominance. I think we're all, collecti...

Re: MBB Recruits 2020
Agreed HUSID-- I picked Upshaw as a comparison over Eli/TC for a reason... Eli and TC are athletic . From the videos I've seen of Green, it seems that getting to the rim and big hops aren't strong points here. To me, that's fine! If I'm making a far fetched, out of this world comparison for fun, I'm...

Re: MBB Recruits 2020
Some new highlights to go with Green's POY award... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nFyJT1et_s&feature=youtu.be I'm cautiously optimistic about this being a real impact player for us from day 1. I'm not saying 25 minutes/game right away, but I think he can contribute immediately. A few observat...

Uh oh. Stopping in Philly on the way to Delaware for a HUGE match up in Newark on Saturday. Only a 4-point spread. Playing in a gym we've classically under-performed in.
I hate to say it, but this screams TRAP GAME.

Absolutely loving following this CAA duo situation.
They both have great instagram/IG stories... highly recommend for some behind the scenes look at g-league life.

Regarding defense, it's a different team when your best player (Buie) is defensive minded, versus past teams where our best players have been all-time scorers. It sets the tone out there, and gets our supporting cast to step it up as well.

Re: Around the CAA Talk
Delaware will end up being a top 4 team this year... they just have too much talent.
It'll be some combination of us, NE, Charleston and UD in the top 4, with W&M's "Twin Towers" stealing a few games from all of us.
No very bad teams/automatic wins this year it seems...

Re: Around the CAA Talk
Watched as well. UD will be a BIG problem for us. Barring injuries/natural disasters/plagues, we're in a lot of trouble trying to match up with them.

Re: MBB Recruits 2020
Congrats to JM + Team... two great grabs and good momentum.
While expectations with being preseason #1 might be tough, it will certainly help with recruiting throughout the first few months of the season for that 3rd open recruiting spot.

Re: 2019-20 schedule news
Generally love this schedule. Lots of top150 opponents, not too many bottom 300's. Only gripe is the California to Florida run... lots of time to be away from home.
But again, in general, great job scheduling this-- must be one of our strongest top to bottom offerings in a long time.

Re: MBB Recruits 2020
Yeah guys, this is a no brainer and would be a great grab.
We shoot 3's and play zone. He's 6'9'', shot 37% on 8 attempts a game, and is only a freshman. That's some serious volume and would be an asset to our program.

Re: 2019-20 schedule news
Any intel on this field of teams? On quick glance, no high-majors, but some quality MM programs.
Are we a favorite? Does someone else return a lot of talent?
