Hofstra WBB 2024-2025

Post by triplec2195 »

So no love from this league picked 12th but not one player recognized in pre-season awards. Swint the leading rebounder I believe and Emma led the league in 3 point shots made per game. A very important year for Coach Atkinson who seems to be on a slippery slope. She’s touting a freshman from MD. And experienced transfers one from Quinnipiac and another from JMU. I talked to Swint at a softball game and she believes this team is much better then last years team. We shall see.

No love from the alumni as well so it seems. I know there are people out there that follow the women's team so as I say every year I'm optimistic about this years team with 8 new players I believe they play Sacred Heart on Monday after the men's game. Hopefully we get out of the gate strong!

Sacred Heart will be a tough game. Moving up from the NEC to the MAAC this season, they have several returning starters including pre-season MAAC player of the year in point guard Ny'ceara Pryor.
