Flying Dutchmen Fans

Didnt follow at all this season, but i checked on the scores both days of tourney. Proud of this team. Will follow a bit more next season.

This team was awesome all year and did things never expected of the program. Heartly congratulations to the players, coaches and all involved with the success.

Let's hope we build on this magical season in the future!

Watched them with casual interest during the season - but did make a point to watch them this weekend (certainly easier when they are on ESPN) -

Notre Dame defeated #1 seed Tennessee today to advance to Omaha as one of the eight teams in the College World Series. UNC, the winner of our bracket, is also out.

Nice . The Mets have honored another Hofstra team in the past.They honored the Hofstra softball team with Olivia Galati pitching to David Wright and discussing the knuckleball with R.A Dickey.

Mets are playing the Texas Rangers. Coach Played 0ne year with the Mets and 5 years with the Rangers

That's cool. So he brings the program back from the dead but will this help recruiting??

Its got to help gain visibility/credibility for the program...I have heard from several people not affiliated with Hofstra who knew about our success in getting into the NCAA's...yet some perceptions till persist...he aksed if we were Division One or Two...UGH!!!!!!!!

When speaking proudly of my alma mater I get questions like that Div. 1 etc. I tell people we have had some success in basketball beating UCLA and last year Arkansas so as far as I'm concerned these kind of people are clueless only interested in P5 programs.

Guy I was talking to is a former baseball player at Fordham...he should know better! Should have told him they, Fordham should consider dropping to Div Two as they have not won ANYTHING in recent memory!

Fordham obviously won't play in Div.2 but should get into a league where they can compete not the Atlantic 10.
