Playing No Games Against the Top Half
Playing No Games Against the Top Half
Marist is 20-5, but has an extremely weak schedule that is 353rd of 364 in the NET, and last in KenPom. In both, they have not played and will not play any team currently in the top half. Schools in bad conferences normally travel to some good teams nonconference, so it is very hard not to play a game against the top half. They rank 19th with a .800 winning percentage, and 210th in the NET, meaning that a majority of teams have a worse winning percentage and better NET than Marist.
