Christian Tomasco has landed with Temple. https://twitter.com/Christian_T_21/stat ... 1705649380
Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
There’s a surprise. Couldn’t crack a CAA lineup, but landed in the A10. Good luck to Christian.
Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
Temple is in the AAC - the American Athletic Conference. Might be higher on the food chain.

According to the Temple Owl Scoop Message Board, "Christian Tomasco will join the roster as a preferred walk-on." Does this designation mean that he is not part of the 13 scholarships available?

It does sound that way. Even with our lack of height I don't think he was part of our plans moving forward. A practice player more then likely.

For those of you who were the least bit interested in former Hofstra player who never saw the court Lual Manyang he transferred to East Stroudsburg University and will now play D2 basketball. Imagine that!!

Boy talk about falling from grace
Lual was a physical specimen
But as former Hofstra football coach Joe Gardi once said
“Looks like Tarzan plays like Jane “

I’d put Sanders in that starting 5Mark19th wrote:MY starting five—DAVIS, ARANGUREN, PLOTNIKOV, GADSDEN, GORDON.

Who's Gordon? Is that supposed to be Graham? Sanders didn't transfer here from Seton Hall to come off the bench. He will start I think you can take that to the bank IMO!
Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
Davis, Sanders, Gadsden, and Graham all seem very likely to be starters. I could see Aranguren starting as well, with Plotnikov a swiss-army knife of sorts who can sub in at a number of positions.
Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
Has JC made a mistake transferring to Syracuse? He may ride the bench behind likely starter Chance Westry, a transfer from Auburn.

He def. made a mistake. He wont score in the ACC. He will handle the ball nicely, and dish off to his scorers, but I dont see him being productive at Syracuse. Not a knock on him, but from the moment I saw that news blurb, i was befuddled. Someone fed him a nice line or two.

Also some $$$.

Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
JC started against LeMoyne last night, played 36 minutes, and had 6 points and 4 assists:

Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
Does anyone know what's happened to Dubar - he didn't play last night - is he hurt ?. Also our former PG didn't get much run with the Orange
Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
DD - "he handle(ing) the personal matter that has him sidelined."
JC - game 1 minutes 36.0 rebounds 4.0 assits 6.0 points 4.0

So for sh.. and giggles I checked out what Wilmoth was doing for Siena. He's coming off the bench averaging 25 minutes missed both three's that he took and both FT's. He's averaging 5.5 boards and getting 3 points a game after playing in two games. He may help Siena on the glass but probably not much else!

Good kid, I would like to see him be successful. In fact, they’re all kids, and whether they stay or leave Hofstra, wish them all nothing but success.triplec2195 wrote:So for sh.. and giggles I checked out what Wilmoth was doing for Siena.
