Baltimore Roll Call
Leaving in about two hours, hope to see some of you down there! Lets go Hofstra!!!
Re: Baltimore Roll Call
i cant go Saturday. Plan to be there Sunday...
Re: Baltimore Roll Call
Will arrive at the hotel at about 5 pm, going to the first game tonight at 6 pm.
There is a cool area with some bars and restaurants near the harbor called Power Plant Live. Off of Lombard, several blocks from Royal Farms Arena, which is also right off Lombard.

How about a pregame brew? Thoughts on any bars around the arena?Wags wrote:IF (WHEN???) we win tomorrow night, anyone going out afterwards to celebrate?

There are a couple at the harbor, off of Pratt Street, across the street from the team hotel (The Renaissance).Flying Dutchmen wrote:How about a pregame brew? Thoughts on any bars around the arena?Wags wrote:IF (WHEN???) we win tomorrow night, anyone going out afterwards to celebrate?
One is Tir Na Nog, an Irish bar. Been there, not bad. Stopped in for a beer after the games last night; had some good live music.
Further up on Pratt, toward the aquarium, are the ESPNZone and Hard Rock Cafe. There's also the Power Plant Live area with several bars nearby. Tir Na Nog is the closest to the arena (about an 8-10 minute walk), but the others I mentioned are still within walking distance (maybe an extra 10 min. at most).

Me and Pops are already here. Front corner of the bar. Will be a lot of UNCW fans here.
Re: Baltimore Roll Call
Just got home..
While that loss sucked, the memories of the weekend will last a long time. Some really crappy, but some really great ones as well..
It was really nice meeting HUSID tonight. Very nice to put a face to a familiar name. Die hards like you are a rare breed, and this program needs a lot more of you.
GDTRFB, always great seeing you and your dad. Thanks for the round at the bar pre-game. Cant wait to link up again next season. You guys already know how I feel about you two. Die hards through it all. Had a great weekend ..
I know others came down, I just wish a lot of others came down. This program needs more die hards, people who post on mid-major message boards. One day it will be our night to shine..
