Wags, do you know if the AP actually has a stringer at our games, or are they writing these reports based upon the box score and YouTube/Twitter video?

Can't speak with knowledge about that on the road games. Haven't seen stringers at the home games.

I think AP only does that for their top 25 teams. They send a writer out. When Furman was in the top 25 earlier this year, they sent a writer out to Elon and a couple of their home games.

Coach referred to the WRHU announcers call of Pemberton's 90 foot shot being the best call of the shot. Does anyone have the link to that audio? I checked the Hofstra highlights and they are using the JMU announcers on it.

As for AP the late Jim O'Connell used to come to a few of our games. In my day as SID we filed the AP story and we got paid for it...some extra cash...

I've been checking the r/collegebasketball forum on Reddit to see if there's any buzz--there have been a few posts that mention us as having the longest winning streak in the country, as well as an interesting post that maps out the closest county to each undefeated (in conference) team. I'd expect if we keep it up for attention to keep growing.

Interesting map; 4 of the 5 teams that border us play in the same conference (Ivy league).

Understood; which is why the 4 teams border us. My point was that 3 of those can't end undefeated and it provides us opportunity to expand our territory.

The Ivy League is the only one that hasn't expanded past 8, so they have the fewest league games and start league play later. Ivy League teams have played 1 or 2 league games.
