MBB 2018-19 Schedule
Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
I don't like having byes and an unequal amount of games played. With the Thursday byes, Saturdays will have more than half the games with 49 out of 90. 39 of the 49 games will be day games, with 1 game each at 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. and 37 games at 2:00 P.M. or 4:00 P.M. Hofstra will have 8 day games. Three CAA teams have released their out of conference schedules. There are home games against the Atlantic 10 but none against the top six conferences. Charleston hosts Rhode Island and goes to Oklahoma State and VCU. Towson goes to Virginia and George Washington. William & Mary hosts George Mason and St. Joseph's and goes to Duquesne, Notre Dame, and Virginia.

beIN Sports has Conference USA games. I don't know if they show out of conference games, but I'm hoping they will show us at Marshall. beIN Sports has a lot of soccer including World Cup Qualifying from CONCACAF (North and Central America and the Caribbean), CONMEBOL (South America), and CAF (Africa). They have La Liga with Barcelona and Real Madrid. Other than soccer and Conference USA, they have motorcycle racing, MMA, and tennis.

Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
Stony Brook has posted the 2018-19 men's basketball schedule on its website. HU at SBU on Wednesday, December 19th. Didn't HU visit SBU in December of 2017? How come the 2018 game is not at the Mack Arena?

Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
That's a bit disappointing. Looks like it could be a logistics issue as December 19th is graduation for the fall semester. The Shadow wrote:Stony Brook has posted the 2018-19 men's basketball schedule on its website. Well IMO that's B.S. I bought tickets to this game and the traveling for me wasn't exactly around the corner and there didn't seem to be a lot of parking near the venue either. I would much prefer this game be home as it should be.
Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
Heard we helped SB out as they were desperate for home games...they will coming to us for two in a row after this year.
Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule

To HUSID74, Thanks for the information update. Do you have any idea when the 2018-19 MBB Schedule will be released?
Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
I think its just a matter of nailing down one more game...should be real soon. The Shadow wrote:To HUSID74, Thanks for the information update. Do you have any idea when the 2018-19 MBB Schedule will be released?
Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
probably should start a new thread for this, but does anyone have an update on what is going on with the team now.
Is everyone from this years roster on campus?
Are they going through summer workouts?
Coaches cannot participate in summer workouts - correct??
Has anyone seen any of the new guys practicing - if yes, tell us what you think?
BTW - anyone hear anything about Rok - is he signed to play in Europe or somewhere?

I searched and didn't find anything professional about him.Cards wrote: BTW - anyone hear anything about Rok - is he signed to play in Europe or somewhere?
Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
My sources regarding a Villanova game this fall were not accurate. Villanova has posted thier non-league schedule and HU is not on it.

Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
Three months from today, on Election Day Night, Tuesday November 6th, the 2018-19 college basketball schedule will begin. The NCAA has pushed the opening night a few days earlier to highlight the first games without the influence on any college or high school football games. Does anyone have any information when HU will release their schedule for the nonconference games? I think we are all looking forward to the season.

Re: MBB 2018-19 Schedule
So this is what I know of so far - anyone with more info please add to this.
Marshall away
Maryland away
Mount St Mary's home
NC A&T home
Stony Brook away
Monmouth home
Sienna home
7 games and likely add Molloy scrimmage
Should be 4-5 more games coming. Hope we add a few more tough games. Other than the terps, this is not a tough schedule.
Anyone hear anything?? I thought we would eventually add some northeast or midAtlantic teams once in a while (A10, or Rutgers, UConn, Syracuse, Penn St, Seton Hall, St Johns, Georgetown, or even a Bucknell or LaSalle (isn't that JM alma?)
