https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN6fkuBzi2I here's the finished product. No chance of seeing anything Hofstra in there- heck, if I hadn't seen the behind the scenes part, I doubt I would have known.
Re: Media Thread
The famous WNBA player from the CAA is Elena Delle Donne. Are there other WNBA players from the CAA? Maybe from James Madison.stuball888 wrote: I just knew where to look. Actually one of the WNBA players actually played at the Mack anyone know who it is in that promo?

Re: Media Thread
Look at the # of views...something like 4,000...that's REAL good!
Re: Media Thread
Kid is a STUD.
Only hope this staff doesn't blow it and surrounds this next superstar with the proper team to go dancing so he can showcase it on a national level.
So far, the track record isn't good. Time to start producing what really matters.

Actually has way more views than that. The 4000 is just the number of people that retweeted it at the time, it now has over 5000. Plus over 11000 "liked it", which means at least 11000 saw it. And most people who see a tweet don't retweet or like it, so I'm sure it got way more views that we can even imagine. Bleacher Report's account has over 4 million followers, so it has the potential to reach the many people, plus I'm sure some of the accounts that retweeted it have followers that don't follow bleacher report, which means even more potential viewers.HUSID80 wrote:Look at the # of views...something like 4,000...that's REAL good!
The video is taken from his instagram account, and on Instagram, you can see the actual number of views. It currently has almost 27,000 views on his account. That's insane. https://www.instagram.com/p/BMH63cIjMLj ... =j.wright3. House of Highlights (part of Bleacher Report) on has over 1 million views on the video they shared to their Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/BUGEFKShH08 ... highlights BR's post on Facebook has over 350k views. https://www.facebook.com/bleacherreport ... 770991006/
Has anything Hofstra ever gotten this many views?
Just very odd that the video was shared yesterday, when it was posted in October 2016

Re: Media Thread
College Sports Madness has us at #133 in their top 144, and finishing 3rd in the CAA. It's actually a decent writeup on the team, except they didn't get the memo that Greer is transferring. Have to assume they have UNCW and CofC as 1 and 2, could go either way on the order of those teams though.

Also, Ari Kramer of Newsday was on campus for the team's workout, so watch for a few articles over the coming days.

Article in Newsday about Wormley

Joe says he plays better defense than Powers and Bernardi. Not a tough task.

Re: Media Thread
Another article in Newsday announced that Kyle Arrington, "Hofstra's last NFL player," was cut by the Ravens. Very sad for a once PROUD program.
Re: Media Thread
"Mihalich said he expects Wormley, Wright-Foreman, Pemberton and Gustys to start. The fifth spot is unclear at the moment."

Re: Media Thread
Besides JWF, we should be bigger next year
Re: Media Thread
I have mixed feelings on this article and the quotes in it.
I am obviously beating a dead horse here, and apparently one of the few who seem at all concerned about the complete lack of ball distribution from the PG spot last year, and the fact that the guy being marked as the savior of the position has a career assist avg of less than 2 per game...
On one side, I am glad to see JM focused on defense - I agree fully it will be great to have lockdown D at the point, and to have size at the position.
However, Buie already provides strong D, that is not the biggest need there. I have yet to see JM state that what is desperately needed here is someone who can CREATE and DISH. That was glaringly missing last year. And it was the #1 team killer.
The only thing that saved the insight of this article for me is that fact that JWF and Pemba were stated as raving about Wormley's playmaking ability. THAT is the only thing that matters IMO at that spot this year. And I am praying they are right. Why hasn't JM said that?
It really concerns me that he hasn't - either he doesn't agree that it's been missing or is a huge need (which would be SCARY), or Wormley hasn't shown it to him either (only slightly less scary). Either of those would be MAJOR issues for me.
All I know is this staff is putting all of their eggs into this basket, and they better be right. Lot of pressure for KW - I have big doubts, but I am really pulling for him to be that game-changer for this team. I am in no mood to watch another me-first no-pass stagnant offense with zero ball distribution or play creation, and gapping hole defense on top of it.
And I better see it right out of the gate. Not waiting till Feb to watch this staff figure out what to do for this team to win. Make or break yr. Get it done.
