The worst Hofstra team is

Sadly, the worst Hofstra team is this year's women's Field Hockey Team. Not only have they not won a game, they've been outshot by significant margins each game, in one game they were outshot 31-2. They just lost to Sacred Heart which was the first time in 22 meetings, they've lost to them. They may have surpassed Lacrosse as the most embarrassing fall, though at least Lacrosse used to be a highly ranked team annually.

They are by far the worst of the fall teams and stats tell story, but incorrect to say they haven't won a game as they beat Rider and Wagner early in the season. Is dissapointing after making CAA playoffs last season for first time since 2015, so hopefully will prove to just be one year blip and they turn corner next season.

All good but yes no doubt this season has been beyond a disaster and this team may be worst of any sport I can recall in my nearly three decades following Hofstra sports. The 2019/20 wbb team that went 3-27 and 0-18 in CAA also up there, although they were at least competitive in many of their conference losses.
