The athletic department has no credibility with me at this point. The spin they put on everything belongs in Washington. Most of the athletic programs have been declining for years and I see little reason to believe that will change.

Triplec - the consistent inability to develop players has started to hurt and show. In the past Hofstra would develop players JWF, Buie and Eli Pemberton come to mind. Jalen Ray as well. Not sure we are seeing that now and in part this is due to the portal.

Rutgers in the NIT was a W. The Arkansas W was nice as well. Blew out a ranked South Florida team and a W over a Princeton team that went to Sweet Sixteen or deeper. You are being a little harsh.

the Pecora reference is odd. Speedy to Fordham would be war with the Rams as far as i am concerned. Isn't Fordham blocking Hofstra from A-10? Or was that some baloney i just heard?

The demise of the once storied softball program is troubling. Seems to me that all Hofstra sports are tending down except for the soccer programs. There is a little uptick in Ladies Hoops but it might just be a tease for now.
