Wish him well and sorry to see him go. Always wondered why Ualbany is rarely on our schedule.

Also, if I’m not mistaken, Washington holds the record for block shots in one game at 10 he shares that honor with Greg Springfield and Adrian Uter

This might indicate it was less his decision and more Hofstra's decision.
Agree - I am surprised with looks Manytang is getting AND where Marshall landed (SUNY Albany) - but what does it all mean anyway - they have a good year on their team and they'll leave for greener pastures - then if they get pine at their new school of choice they leave to get playing time somewhere else. The players commitment is so temporary to me.

HUSID is quite right. Time is running out and the pickings are getting slim. Speedy needs to pull a few more rabbits out of his hat especially with the "bigs."

Shame about Kellman. Also Amari Kelly committed to George Mason today, so that's another big off the board.

That being said, another big just hit the portal today who I think Hofstra should be all over.... Richie Springs. 6'9 grad transfer from Brooklyn who played for national champion Uconn. Seen him listed from 235-250 so he has more bulk than Wilmoth. Like Wilmoth at Butler, Springs couldn't crack Uconns rotation. But no shame being stuck behind Sanogo and Clingan, and anyone who's spent years as a glue/culture guy for Hurley is good by me.

Also, while not sure if they overlapped, Springs appears to have played for same AAU team as Carlos. Springs rarely seems to tweet, but there is a retweet not too far down his timeline of a 2020 article touting Carlos as the next great PG from their aau program, so he definitely knows him.

I admittedly had never heard of this kid before today, but now hes at the top of my list! Lol. Work your magic Speedy!

Good work, DutchPride.

On another topic, it appears that we are not pursuing Georgetown's Jordan Riley:

That's too bad but maybe he just wasn't interested in coming here but he would take a visit to Manhattan?? Crazy.

He would be a nice addition Jojo. Big bodied strong player (with what I think would be 3 years of eligibility). Looks like a more athletic version of Warren Williams.

Keep those portal reports coming!!
