Interesting that C of C lost tonight and Delaware wins again. Can't figure those teams out. That's ok, we'll just take 'em one at a time.

Check my math on this but if you throw out the first year (5-13), to date, we have 37 conference wins.

Over the same period Skerry has 32, Shaver 40, Grant 32, and Coen 32.

First, look at Coen and Shaver's career records.......'nuf said !

Secondly, there are never, ever any easy games.....EVER !

Jay Wright had a losing record after 5 years here in a significantly lesser conference. He didn't make the tournament until his 6th year. It's so easy for some of you to say the things you do because, odds are, every year, we are not going to win the conference. You know why ? Because its damn hard ...

This Manhattan team almost beat Towson.....should have beaten Towson.........I am not so "easy". I'd like to see laser-focus, almost a "must win" approach, defend home court, refuse to lose......all that stuff....but we just gotta bring it ! It will take spirit, will, a dog-like ...

Looks to me that USC did them a favor to be the first opponent in their new arena (and probably a 2 for 1). GT looks like a 2 for 1 as well.....maybe even 3 for 1 (?).

eh....... I thought Clemson was very good and could answer the tricks and controlled the flow. Under those circumstances, we can't make mistakes like missed front ends, picking up unnecessary fouls, missed defensive assignments, etc. Clemson capitalized on all of those. Lots to grow from here, but, ...

We held a pre-season #5 A10, Anthony Grant-coached team, w/ essentially an athletic 7 footer, good guards, and a travelling crowd to 69 points !!!!!


This team just earned everyone's respect. They balled-out tonight !!

Just some random thoughts...... The coaches can't comment on players until they are signed, and they can't release info on recruits. It would destroy the process, their credibility, and their plan. (See some of the comments on the board here about recruits.) I believe that it's not them being secret...
