Flying Dutchmen Fans

We struggled with Drexel at the Mack, and the DAC is always a tough place to play. It's Drexel's homecoming, so there should be plenty of fans in the seats. Could end up being a tough game if we don't play to our potential. There should also be a nice Hofstra contingent there, especially for Green and Tanksley's last game in Philly.

I don't like this game simply because Drexel has lost SO much... makes me cautious

But flip side is I'm stoked for JG and AT to have a final homecoming at the collegiate level - put on a clinic fellas!!

starting out in love with the 3 pointer..... 0 for 6, 4 for 13 overall. 8 minutes in and RG had only 1 shot - I don't get it?

13 minutes in and HU is 0 for 9 from 3. 5 for 20 overall. we are down 7

Slow start thus far...Trailing 11-6 and we're 0-6 from three. If we continue to be mediocre from three point range for the duration of our conference play it's difficult to see an avenue to the championship. Here's hoping it's just a dry spell.

Slow start, I expect it to be a close game though, Drexel is a solid defensive team, and they need a win very badly.

As a follow-up (maybe Evan or PoP can double check this) we've been shooting 78/226 (34.5%) in CAA play after shooting 110/291 (37.8%) in OOC. Now that may not seem like a crazy difference but it's enough to change us from about 50th in the nation in 3P% to 170th. So we've gone from a very strong perimeter team to a completely average one. The fact that we've managed to win in spite of our supposed great strength is somewhat encouraging, but it's also worrisome if our shooting continues to be middling.

According to Jerry Beach, there's no video because the game is tape delayed and won't be showed until tomorrow.

Meanwhile, we're now 0-9 from 3, and down 12-21. Drexel is on a 8-0 run, and is also out-rebounding us. Maybe we don't want to watch this.

WRHU just said that Bernardi has only made 10 threes since the game at Towson on January 2. Right now as we look pathetic against Drexel, would be a great time for him to wake up and get it together.

They have 10 offensive rebounds and we're 0-11 from deep. I'm amazed we're not down by 20.

halftime down 30 - 24. Poor offensive showing. We are 0-12 from 3 and shooting 33% overall. No one has more than 4 pts on HU. RG has 7 rebounds, but got them all in the first 8 minutes.

HU lucky to still be in the game.

Pathetic effort so far, 0-11 or 12 from three. Have to bring the intensity and put this game away in the second half.

I wouldn't want to be in that locker room right now. This might have been our worst half of basketball all season. Drexel isn't even doing all that great, they're only up because we can't rebound and they have 9 more than we do.

The game will be on SNY tomorrow, but it's on live TV in some or all of 35 states. If the game wasn't available online because SNY didn't want it to, there should be a message that the game is blacked out in my area rather than the video not playing anything or providing any message.
