Wow! Hard to believe that there are 20 mid majors better than us.

How about this, our ladies team is 11-4 with a victory over BC and is not in the mid major 25. JMU is ranked #2 and Albany who we smoked is in the top 25.

A lot of the pollsters seem to go off of the RPI in that MM top25 poll. We're sitting at 148 in the RPI right now, so we're not going to get much love unless we keep winning.

Before the womens win against Towson our RPI was 91 and still not in the mid major top 25.

Did they crack the top 25 or on the outside looking in.

25th has 98 points. Hofstra is 29th with 20 points.
Edit: Stony Brook's Men are 50th in the Mid-Major Poll and 66th in the RPI. Stony Brook's strength of schedule will get worse, but as of now their strength of schedule is better than a majority of teams in the top six conferences.

the men dropped from being ranked to receiving 22 votes, and the women improved from receiving 20 votes to now receiving 52, and they are receiving the most of any team not ranked, so they would be 26.

Even with all of the not so great performances lately, the men are still receiving votes in the latest mid-major poll released yesterday. We're receiving 12, while William and Mary has 17 and Northeastern has 4.

This week's women's poll is exactly why the mid major poll is a joke. Is Hofstra receiving 18 votes, 7 votes, or 25 votes?
