On Saturday we host Campbell (8-11, 3-3). The Fighting Camels have defeated Drexel, Hampton and Monmouth. Their losses have come against three of the top teams in our league: UNCW, Elon and Charleston.

The Camels lost their best player, Anthony Dell'Orso, to the University of Arizona, where he is averaging 9 ppg and 18 mpg. Jasin Sinani and Colby Duggan are leading Campbell in scoring at 13 ppg.

Tipoff is 12 noon due to coverage on the CBS Sports Network. After this, we have only four more home games.

Campbell is now 9-11 and 4-3 after defeating SBU last night, 79-54. The Camels are hot. They also scored 81 points vs. Monmouth before traveling north.

Campbell has not written a preview yet. Their website has one good thing, and one bad thing. The good thing is that they link to the statistics page, which will be at https://stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=547149 and some teams have links to the statistics days earlier, while we do not have a link until gameday. Having the link days early won't matter to other people, but I like it. The bad thing about Campbell's website is that the link for video goes to Flo, but this game will not be on Flo.

Campbell has turned out to be sneaky good. 3 stats that caught my eye.... in conference only games they are:

- 2nd to us in ppg allowed
- Best 3pt fg% defense by a wide margin
- 1st in turnover margin

So we should get a pretty definitive answer tomorrow if the offensive explosion vs Delaware was a fluke or not

Just be cognizant of the fact that Delaware is the worst defensive team in the CAA and that's saying something considering that two schools in the CAA are winless!

In all games against Division I opponents, we rank 4th of 364 in opponents' two-point field goal percentage, and Campbell ranks 343rd. Campbell defends threes well. Maybe DeCady should play with Graham or Sunday. With two games against Campbell and two games against Stony Brook, four of our last eleven games are against teams in the bottom 6 percent at defending twos.

Campbell shot free throws .804 nonconference, and .679 in CAA games.

Once again trying to ruin a great 1st half with an idiotic mistake in the final seconds. But truly well played up and down the line up overall.

If Cruz can consistently play at this level ceiling for this team dramatically changes.

Campbell getting consistent open looks from 3 by taking advantage of Sunday's inability to get out of the lane. But Speedy keeps him in. Not the first time we've seen this

I think I'm more mad at Speedy putting Robinson back in the game and having him be only one to touch the ball for critical late possession than Gadsdens awful turnover or the 3 to tie.

I don't want to hear about Campbell making a lucky shot to win or the yet again questionable Saturday officiating.

We make the same mistakes every single game and get no better in late/close situations despite constantly finding ourselves in them. Is some of that this is a losing group of players that lacks the mental toughness? When it keeps happening over and over again sadly i think yes. But it's also a gigantic failure by the coaching staff and that's ultimately where I place much more of the blame.

It's going to be a dogfight just to avoid finishing in the bottom 4 of this league and playing in the embarrassing Friday window. Forget any chance at another top 4
