Fifth leading scorer Yuri Covington, six leading scorer Tyler Rice, and eighth leading scorers Brandon Carroll missed their last game due to injury. Rice is their point guard. Carroll leads the CAA with 1.6 blocks. All of them shoot .301 or worse, and even factoring in how many threes they attempt, they're still poor shooters. I don't know if they will play on Wednesday. The team shoots field goals .399, threes .287, and free throws .659. Their top four scorers combine to shoot .503, and the rest of the team shoots .298. They get outscored by 11.6 per game, and 15.5 per game against Division I.

Two CAA teams have Covid. Drexel's pause continues and postpones their trips to Charleston and UNCW. James Madison has Covid that made them cancel a game at Penn tomorrow, and they still hope to play at travel partner Towson on Friday.

ESPN gives us almost a 92 percent chance of winning….hate to say it but I’m worried about COVID hitting our team after the week long break.

Saw Hofstra’s game notes and Cooks is not listed as a starter…hope he’s back and ready to play along with Simmons.

Does anyone know Hofstra’s Covid testing policy for the team? Do they tear asymptomatic players?

Probably no need to rush them back for this game ALTHOUGH I thought that Speedy said Cooks would be back for this game in the post presser after they beat Monmouth.

We're 14.5 point favorites and o/u is 144.5. That sounds like a 80-65 win give or take. That's a lot of points to be favored by. I wonder the last time we were favored by 14.5 points on the road in a CAA game??

A lot of the "experts" are saying to take the points and W&M...tough to blow out a Conference oppoent on the road....Like to see Ray go off in his home state and close to his home.

Also would like to see this team whole with every player healthy and available to play and if we get a big lead see Simmons who I haven't see play yet along with a lot of others waiting to see what he brings.

W&M, like much of the CAA again, is going to be pretty poor - HU should win this handily no matter the roster. After the OOC we’ve seen, no excuses in this weak conf - come out of the gate on fire and let’s take this conf by storm.

Good lord this broadcast is brutal, no scoreboard, blurry, announcers think there are 4 Jalen Rays on the court.

Estrada is a great player but he is way too infatuated with his 3-ball for a career 29% shooter.

Silverio hurting us in this game. Low scoring half not in our game plan

Garbage half against an awful team. Have said many times before, have to have another plan when the 3 isn’t there - not shooting lights out every game, this can’t be the only strategy. Cmon Speedy, expect much better next half.

Turn this thing around in the 2nd and start playing some real HU basketball instead of the rec league nonsense thus far.

How about let’s see Cooks and Ray prove they can actually play together. Have yet to see it all friggin year.

I was told this wasn’t an issue … yet here we are again, playing down to competition. Those two need to figure their sh!t out. It’s annoying now. Learn how to lead this team together for goodness sake, it’s conf play time. Bring the HEAT in the 2nd, and put this team away.

This is supposed to be the worst D1 team we play all season, we’re certainly not making it look that way.

For Silverio no, he’ll just keep chucking 3s until maybe Speedy realizes his best value is on the bench. Let’s get the ball inside to Iyiola and see if they can guard him, there’s no Nathan Knight out there.

W&M has one of the worst defenses in college basketball, so instead of attacking them we just sit on the fringes and shoot bad threes, despite being a mediocre shooting team. Love it!

Have to call Speedy out on this. Is allowing them to chuck 3s and hasn’t used time outs at all. Extremely disappointing.

Carlos getting too much play here - making bad decisions. Is Cooks hurt again?
