Our game vs. Seton Hall at the Coliseum should be considered a home game. Wonder if it's part of the season ticket package.

HUSID you remember when we played Villanova at the Coliseum we had to pay extra for those tickets and if I remember correctly the seats sucked!

Was there supposed to be a game against Quinnipiac?

Cards, I went to the Quinnipiac website and the HU game is listed for Sunday, December 29th at 1:00 pm. The ESPN schedule also does not have the home games listed on Monday, November 4th against Old Westbury and the Friday, December 6th game against St. Joseph (LI).

I may be wrong but I don’t think D2 games are usually listed.

Well we're still waiting for the homage to the 2020 basketball team that made the NCAA's which hadn't happened in 19 years. Rick Cole told me it was in the works but we shall see as we go into another new basketball season. Lip service, I hope not!!

Need to get my mind off the mets game tonight, so thankfully the KenPom preseason rankings came out today. Some things of note...

- Hofstra starts at 179, good for 4th in the CAA (behind Towson 127, Charleston 136, and uncw 154).
- Houston is kenpom's preseason #1 overall, so that should be a fun challenge
- FSU and Seton Hall are the only other top 100 preseason teams on the schedule (at 90 and 91 respectively)
- Umass, Arkansas St, and Temple are also ranked higher than Hofstra among our non conference opponents

Today was Media Day. Including nine honorable mentions, we did not have any of the nineteen players honored, and I wonder when the last time we did not have any honored players was. We were picked fourth, so maybe we will have balance. Our best regular season was in 2005-2006, when we were led by Loren Stokes and Antoine Agudio, but all five starters were good. The 2015-2016 team that had Player of the Year Juan'ya Green and blew the CAA Final also had all five starters be good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWc31VaYqy4 is the video.
