Great Schedule, we probably got the Fullerton game at home because one of their Senior guards, arguably their best player, Kyle Allman, played with JWF in high school. Love that we got VCU and Maryland on there, great early tests.

Overall, no real cupcake games, I don't count the game against Rosemont, it's a glorified exhibition. Wish we could get St. John's back on there or another local instead of a D-2 team, but overall I think it's a perfect test for us this year, with a good team returning.

Why do they not list Rosemont as an exhibition or scrimmage? It is clearly NOT A GAME. BTW, Rosemont is not even D2, they are D3.

Please tell me why we play these games seems like a joke and an inflation of our true ability. I get a lot of players get playing time that otherwise wouldn't but we need blowouts of D-1 schools.

To watch the game at Maryland, you need to buy Big Ten Network Plus. The cheapest subscription is $9.95 for one school for one month. If you pay for Maryland for November, you can watch them host us and Delaware.

Last season we ranked 219th out of 351 in attendance. Where do you predict we will rank this season?

Thanks Cards I didn't look into December as I assumed this was an exhibition game?? It certainly seems strange indeed.

William & Mary plays a non-Division I team late among their out of conference games. 2018-2019 will be the twelfth consecutive season they played a non-Division I team on December 15 or later.

OK I'm just averse to these games! IMO they're a waste of time for us but maybe good for the other team. I remember a few yrs. ago Syracuse losing to a D-2 team which is an embarrassment. Sorry just my opinion.

2018-2019 Team photo on HU Website.

If you did not know that all our coaches are under 6 ft, you would think we had four player that are 7+ ft tall!!

I don't like non-Division I games, but I only complain if they play more than one.

Those guys in the back are 6'10", 6'10", 6'9", 6'7". They actually have some legit size this year (although one is a transfer and another might redshirt).
There's a pair of 6'8" guys sitting on the ends, too :)

Well at this time of the year I'm getting anxious for college hoops even though MLB playoffs are in full swing and the NFL is rolling. I wish we were privy to more info. about this team and what we can expect. When u say another might redshirt I assume u r talking about Hughes and I've asked about the ongoing eligibility of Taylor hoping he's going to be a good fit here and fills a void. We should start to get sneak peaks of HU practices and start to have our own high expectations of getting back to the dance. All within reason and not out of the realm of possibility. Come on HU give us some tidbits.

I've seen some clips on instagram, twitter, etc. Taylor is a legit shotblocker and seems to have good athleticism. I do think Hughes is going to redshirt but that's just a guess on my part - with everyone healthy, this is the deepest team they've had in a very long time.

Cactus - if not too much trouble, can you post some links to the clips you reference?
