Gary - I wish I could say something with absolute certainty, but I don't think we can just yet. What I do think is that between DB and Wormley we will have skills at PG. KW has some nice length at the point, and it seems as though he has a good rep as a defender. Combine his minutes with DB minutes and I think we will have a solid defender at the point for 40 min per game. WOW, what a concept!

Video of KW shows he is a guy who can dish the ball. He also can score and shoot the 3. I guess the question will be can JM and SC convince him that dishing and defense are his numero uno priority! If KW can take on that role, I think the duo will be a definite upgrade from this past season. I gotta think that JWF and EP will get all the attention when we have the ball, and that might open up scoring opportunities for both DB and KW - but I don't see them as guys that should average more than 10 ppg. At this point, it simply will not be their role to be throwing up points.

I also think that if JWF needs a breather, we could also put KW in the 2 spot for short periods (just not sure how JRay will work out as a true freshman and if he will get the minutes when JWF is off the floor). As things stand, I am OK with these two guys sharing the point.

Now - get an impact 4 and any other position player who is a real stud.

On their board: "Hofstra is a hotbed for NBA players" We haven't had one since Charles Jenkins in 2011... Maybe they mean due to the area the school is in? Not entirely sure what they mean by that comment, but whatever. I like that most of them seem happy for him.

It was a joke; apparently Wormley had made a comment about transferring to have a better opportunity at the NBA.

SBU announed the commit from Broward CC a 5ft 11 point guard. He avg 18.7 points per game and 4.5 assists.

Because Roberto Gittens Jr. decommitted and will be reclassifying to the class of 2018.

He'll never be heard from again. Hope it was more about a particular education situation, because for hoops that is a career killer. Even HU is a MUCH better option honestly.

I wonder if Roberto Gittens jr is related to our Roberto who played with Speedy. Bert did have a son who was about 2 when he played at Hofstra

Strong feeling Jalen Ray is headed to prep school...Newsday had article today about two 6-8 kids that are students at The Knox School in St. James...both appear to have some skills and are headed to D-1 programs...did not see Hofstra connected with either...
