Cards: You are spot on. Hofstra is not very fan friendly in that regard.

Lots of area teams don't want to play us, i.e. St Johns and Fordham as two examples...it may be tough to get decent local games that aren't buys.

For long time Hofstra fans, what’s the lowest number of non conference opponents we have had at home in recent memory? We had 4 last year, 5 if you count UBS, but St. John was the home team.

One of the biggest gripes on this board prior to Speedy taking over was the cupcake OOC we'd have with maybe 1 high major opponent. Painful not to have a ton of home games in OOC, but after a few seasons of finally having a super competitive OOC schedules, I'll take that trade any day.

if we are in the Bahamas tourney we might see our old friend D'Stone as the Vols are in that tourney. Hate to see him in orange and white.

That's an old reunion I'd like us to play S Florida again. Had fun with them at the Mack before they went on a crazy run!

I think there are two Bahamas tourneys. The first is a four team tourney (Baylor, St Johns, Tenn, and Virginia). The second tourney (the one I think we would be part of is a six team tourney. The only team I can find that is in that tourney is Arkansas State. My guess is that its more of a mid-major tourney rather than one with the big boys.

Cards you are correct and i was mistaken. There are back-to-back BaHa tourneys.

Yes. We are in the mid major version...I was told by one or two basketball staff members and the Smok-Haus meet up on Tuesday.

There is also a women's tournament that week. The mid major tournament is Nov 29-Dec 1.

Looks like we're starting a home and home series with Quinnipiac. On top of that just being the Pecorra reunion, he's turned them into a top team in the MAAC. Thats a nice add to the non conference slate

not late enough for anyone who goes to the games (giants are home). should be 7 pm like any weeknight.

The Bahamas Tournament has the following teams: Arkansas State, HU, Iona, Indiana State, and Rice. There are three more to be listed to arrive at the tournament number of eight.
