Re: Media Thread
Northeastern has the best front line in the conference and William and Mary has probably the best backcourt with Hofstra a close second.

Re: Media Thread
great articles, and great press, keep it coming baby - program has been through it, time for some major positive
in a few weeks it's game time - team will need to step up and earn the continued attention and praise - looking forward to it

Re: Media Thread
that was EXCELLENT - I really love this guy - He's changing the face of this program and has the ability to take HU ball to heights never before experienced - don't mean to put that kind of expectation on him year 2, but there's just something about him that screams program-changer
straight-forward, obviously knowledgeable, shares great insight with the fans, knows and loves his players, recruited them for a REASON, schedules with a purpose, seems be a genuine guy fitting in perfectly
very easy guy to root for!

Interview with JAM by Cash Scott about this upcoming season. Talks mostly about the new facility/court and Speedy, but there's a little bit about players and expectations for the season.

Joe love your enthusiasm but Northeastern has two studs on their front line. A healthy Quincy Ford is a matchup nightmare. William and Mary has a dynamic backcourt with proven CAA players.

The league's assistant coaches commented on the other teams in the conference. Most think we'll be good, but acknowledge that there are still unknowns. http://cityofbasketballlove.com/2014/10 ... sociation/

Tanksley guarded by small forward Quincy Ford who is 6ft8 and 240. He has skills similar to Bennimon of Towson. Green will be guarded by the W&M guards who are very capable. I am not diminishing Green and Tankleys talent but some on this board think there is no talent on the other teams. It will not be a cakewalk like Joe G said.

Mid Major Madness has us coming in second, but they do have a few mistakes their writeup. http://www.midmajormadness.com/2014/10/ ... ssociation
Re: Media Thread
Ask Speedy what he would do to a guy 6-8 240 guarding him

Re: Media Thread
Joe no one will be guarding Speedy. That is Tanksley who is 6ft6 and 225. Green is 6ft2 to be guarded by Thorton who is the preseason POW in the CAA. Thess two have talent but you make it sound like these guys just came over from UNC or Duke. Look I hope you a right and we win going away but lets play some conference games before we give Hofstra an NCAA berth.
Re: Media Thread
Tanksley is a guard and would school Ford, who btw is listed at 215 and looks it. He dnp last yr. NE has good size, but that does not = skill. We have 10 players who would start on most caa teams. We will run opponents into the ground.

Re: Media Thread
Tanksley is a wing and Ford is a 6f8 small forward. Have you seen Tanksley handle the ball. Quincy Ford is a proven CAA player while Tanksley is a proven MAAC player. Somehow you equate this to Tanksley being heads and shoulders above Ford.
