Just saw the announcement that HU will open the season at Central Florida. UCF is a member of the Big XII Conference. This just about fills out the schedule because we are aware of the last three games against Iona on November 7th, Molloy on November 10th' and Quinnipiac on December 21st that have not been announced. I'm not sure why the Molloy game is not listed on the schedule when there is a large banner on the top of the page announcing the "Class at the Court" game. Also, the Iona and Quinnipiac games are listed on their 2025-26 schedules. The HU schedule now has only one home game in November (Molloy) and two at the end of December (Quinnipiac and Campbell). Seems like many buy games (UCF, Pitt, & Syracuse). Looks like Coach Speedy is not afraid of any road games at power conference colleges.
The "Buy" games are to raise money for the NIL in my opinion...very disappointing home non-conference schedule.

Get used to it
I see this as the easiest way to raise money and compete in the atmosphere of college sports

https://gohofstra.com/sports/mens-basketball/schedule/ lists nine nonconference games, which are UCF, Bucknell, Temple, La Salle, Merrimack, Pennsylvania, Columbia, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse. Iona, Molloy, and Quinnipiac make 12. 13 is normal. Playing only two nonconference home games is normal for some teams, and some teams play zero or one, but it is not normal for us. In 2003-2004 we had two nonconference home games, but that was out of ten, not out of thirteen.

Does anyone know if they are selling tickets to the Cathedral Classic through the participating schools? I would like to attend (hopefully all 3 sessions) but would like to sit with other Hofstra fans.

Just received my "BLUE Ribbon" College Baseball Yearbook
They have us 13th and last. No mention of the 2 "bigs" we picked up late. Barely a mention of Edmead. I Didn't know Lopez OUT for Season - must have missed it.

I think after the recent additions a 13th place finish is not happening.
We may have a deeper front court than we have ever had. Guards galore. Lots of gelling necessary but every team is looking at assembling a cohesive unit.
A great opportunity for Speedy and staff to show out when most pundits are writing them off.
Cancel my Blue Ribbon subscription. Woops I don't have one. Let's play ball!

So why is Lopez supposedly out for the season? Love to know what that's all about considering he red-shirted last year.

Guess it wasn’t so secret.

Secret scrimmage means no general attendance
It should be called a closed scrimmage
