Just a heads up to current STH, I heard from a friend that Carla isn’t the contact at Hofstra anymore and they’re looking for a new Director of Ticket Sales. Bummed to hear.

So it appears it took all of 1 yr of Pitino for St John's to start ducking us again. Maybe we should intentionally get blown out by them on occasion so they wouldn't be afraid to schedule us...

I had a feeling that would happen. Hofstra has been pretty slow to release their non conference schedule, so far we just have 2 matchups confirmed. A year ago, we knew most by now.

Just listed on D1 Docket and the Iona websites, Iona at HU on Friday, November 8th. So, this is the second date on the 2024-25 out of conference schedule along with HU at Houston on Friday, November 22nd.

Any rumblings about a tournament this year? Many schools are making announcements now (so fans can make travel plans) but i have not noticed any mention of Hofstra so far.

Is there a season ticket holder event on August 20th? Meet and Greet with Speedy and Danielle. I didn’t get an email about it, but my buddy told me.

I'm not sure about the HU-SHU date. I checked the UBS Schedule, and it has Disney on Ice scheduled for Wednesday, November 13th to Sunday, November 17th.

On the GoHofstra website, there is a banner on the top with a save the date for "Class on the Court" with a Friday, December 6th date. Game tipoff is at 11:30 am. My guess is a local D2 or D3 opponent as we have seen in previous seasons.

Interesting, I actually thought this game would be in October as a warm up. 11:30 AM game was a lot of fun last year, those kids bring all the energy!

pretty favorable CAA schedule I would say. Charleston, Drexel, Towson, UNCW only once each.

And unlike last year, Charleston and UNCW at home (although, with all of the offseason player movement, who knows in August who'll be good or bad next year?)

Very true, we don't even have any idea how good or bad Hofstra will be, let alone their opponents.

Love the non conf games Speedy has arranged so far!! That being said, isn't it always a grind trying to get info about the program in a reasonable timeframe. Most other teams have the vast majority of schedules already set.

In the end, I know I"ll be pleased with the non conf games, but sheeesh, its hard to be patient.
