Flying Dutchmen Fans

Well its over and Hofstra pulls out a 3-1 victory over Delaware. This team is very deep. yesterday Abdul-Rahim and Cinel were the stars. Today it was Stedile and Abdul-Rahim. But Cinel Bol and others chipped in . Team is now 15-8 overall and 12-0 in conference. Next week we have an OOC with Chicago State who also plays Towson and Delaware.
We close with Northeastern at home then travel to Towson before the CAA tournament at Towson begins.

Now 12-0 after we sweep Delaware but will we be able to beat Towson.

My ears have been ringing lol

Would love to see a vball game, a strong program with a history of success here - actually never seen one, shame on me. Will definitely bring my girls one day.

What a year shaping up, and a young group too, love it!

Call it what you will but we finally lose to Chicago State who's 6-13?? We were playing at home seemed like we would certainly be motivated to win but....... after winning the first set we lose three straight 25-22,25-23 and 25-21. All close games what a shame but CAA games more important right now.

Chicago State is the best6-13 team in the country. Look at who they have played.
We played poorly today but give Chi state credit.

We're now 13-0 in the conference after beating NE in three straight sets. The train keeps rolling.

Team rebounds from a poor performance against Chi State. Northeastern is good and had a 8-4 conference record coming into todays match. A 3-0 score on the road is impressive. I stand corrected match was held at Hofstra.

So today we beat northeastern 3 to 1
The last set was a doozy Thought match was over over at 27-25 but the ruling on the court was reversed and the final score was Hofstra 34 Northeastern 32

According to coach Emily Mansur, Seniors Sara Pierre and Zayare Abdul-Rahim are both eligible to play next year. So we possibly will not lose anyone from this years team.

This is going to be a very very good team moving forward getting major contributions from our freshman and sophomore’s. Let’s win the CAA this year.

So we lose in three sets yesterday and really get blown out in the second set. Hopefully we can rebound today with the regular season championship on the line.

Lost the first set already 25-12. Getting totally outplayed by a far better team I guess.

Lose the 5th set 15-11 first time either team went to a 5th set this year

Well they proved they could play with this team that’s a positive moving forward.

Lost to William and Mary in 5 sets in the quarterfinals, reverse sweep. Looked great the first 2 sets, then got blown out in sets 3 and 4.

Disappointing end to a very good season...Wait til next year!

This team is still very young the good news is next year we get back Sarah Pierre and Zaire Abdul Rahim they will be here for the graduate year spoke to coach Emily Mansoor and we have two recruits coming in that will give us some depth at the front of the net looking forward to next year is Towson loses a few players to graduation
