I guess size doesn't matter. We may be the shortest team in D-1.

You're right b-p, this kid can play. I like his game very much. If he gets much better we'll lose him transferring to a P5
Kinda surprised he didnt have better offers (had 5-6 low level D1 offers). Hope he is a late bloomer or something like that and that there are no skeletons in the closet!

Still confused. Is he playing this year for us?

If he does plan to come to HU in the fall of 2025, my guess is he would red shirt.

Some more D1 Docket schedule information, HU at Temple, Wednesday, November, 19th and Quinnipiac (and our friend Tom Pecora) at HU, Sunday, December 21st.

I understand he's coming in this year. He's too good to redshirt.

That means we are playing five games in Philadelphia on three trips, and playing four of the six schools there.

He looks like the real deal. Is he a point guard? Is the Long Island kid Edmead a point guard?
Also which coach was instrumental in getting this kid?
Looks like a great get and is used to winning.
Suddenly psyched for HU basketball!

Its like the old days of the East Coast Conference...up and down the Jersey Turnpike!

Agree with Stu, though I could see Preston and Jaeden sharing time at the point with Cruz playing more 2. Good to have options at PG:

Well, Jaeden did have an early offer from Marist, so I would think our new assistant coach, Drew Metz, who joined us from Marist, had a hand in Jaeden's coming here.

So if this kid is here for '25 and expected to play, what does that make our current depth chart at the moment?

This would be my completely uneducated guess:

Starters:
G - Cruz
G - Carlos Lopez
G/F - German
G/F - Biggie Patterson
C - Sunday

Bench:
G - Edmead
G - Jaeden
F - DeCady
Extra guards - All the remaining transfers (None of whom are listed as taller than 6'4). Or do these kids get the leg up at first over the 2 freshman?

Team is just so so small. And I fear asking way too much of Sunday

So, we have ten guards and three bigs? Back court looking good. Can we get a rebound?

Good Detective work re the Marist connection Jojo!
Verbal commits lists Amir Williams as a small forward.
There should be a war for playing time at guard.
The 2 freshmen should allow Cruz to cruise at off guard.
The big from Monroe should be jumping at the opportunity to get major minutes with us.

Too many unknowns here but don't feel Sunday will start. He doesn't have the skill set and is too foul prone. With two more scholarships to give we need to bring in a starter at the 5 and I believe we will. Nobody should be surprised if Edmeade winds up as the starting PG. He needs work in the weight room or he will get pushed around the court but he can score in a variety of ways.

In guards we trust was fine for America East but nowhere else. Not sure what the problem is recruiting bigs. Sunday made progress last year lets hope he continues to improve. Seems like a good guy and coachable. Still though we are way too small.
