Doesn't look strong enough for a center ( although the video is 1 or 2 years old ) Does move extreme well - could be a power forward - no video off an outside shot

Zman - given the evident lack of height, beggars can't be choosers at this point.

No concerns with bulk - can’t add height, you can add muscle.

He would be coming in as a freshman even though he played a year of JUCO ball as JUCO basketball is not considered anymore towards D1 eligibility.

bean-pie is right - you can't coach 7 foot.

No Idea which year. That being said, if the kid is willing to make the jump now, and given the teams current needs, why would we wait to grab him. I could only see waiting if we have something else in the works and we are waiting for a different commitment.

I’m actually hoping we land this kid. Would be a boost to the roster and provide some much needed height.

Agree Cards, let's get him!

I think we have had at least one player come to Hofstra from Monroe J.C.
At least 10 years ago. Played meaningful minutes. Can anybody name this player? (not a quiz...I can't name him either.

Thanks cactus
That is not the name I was thinking of. Maybe there was another guy from Monroe. I looked into old rosters of HU players and did not see any familair names. It might have been 15 years ago.
BTW looking at old rosters is really a trip down memory lane. Time flies!

Looking at the 2025-26 MBB schedule as of today on D1 Docket, there are only two home nonconference games, Norfolk State and Quinnipiac. I'm guessing there will also be a D-2 or D-3 local opponent for the annual game with the local school classes on a weekday at about 11:00 am. Does anyone know the amount of nonconference games allowed by the NCAA in addition to the 18 CAA games?
To compare, Drexel has seven home nonconference games. They host Penn (Big Five), Old Dominion, Fairfield, Howard, a Division II team, and two teams to be announced.
I saw a prediction that has us fourth in the CAA.

Fourth is a stretch. Charleston, UNCW, Towson, then anyone's guess.

None of those teams particularly impressed me last year. They just played better than us. Who knows how good we'll be. We played pretty badly last year even though we had somewhat decent talent. All about effort and execution

So, is Jaeden coming in this year? When I first read the links on my phone, I thought he was an early recruit for next year.
