We went up 4, down, up 9, and NC A&T scored the last 6 of the half to go down 25-22. We scored 45 in the second half to win 70-49. We used eight players, and Robinson did not play. Farmer in 11 minutes and DeCady in 4 minutes did not contribute. Six players contributed. Aranguren led us with 20 points, tied for our lead with 9 rebounds, and had 4 assists. He had 1 assist and 4 turnovers in the first half, and avoided a turnover in the second half. Davis had 14 points, 7 rebounds, and led all players with 8 assists, but shot 5-15. Graham was scoreless at halftime before scoring 11, including 9 in 3:32. He shot 5-6, and had 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. Sunday had 6 points from 3-4 shooting, 9 rebounds, and had 3 blocks for the second consecutive game. Parnell scored 12 by shooting 4-7 with all of the attempts being threes. Plotnikov had 7 rebounds, 7 rebounds, and led all players with 3 steals, but shot 2-9. Aranguren, Davis, and Plotnikov played 39 minutes. Jahnathan Lamothe led all players with 25 points, and got fouled in the act of shooting a three twice in 4:13. He shot 7-20 including 4-13 threes, and missed his last 3. He had a majority of his team's points. Efstratios Kalliontzis was second on his team with 9 points. He and Nikolaos Chitikoudis had 9 rebounds to make a four-way tie for the most on either team. Chitikoudis had 5 assists. Point guard Camian Shell shot 1-8 and had 5 points and 4 assists. We dominated rebounding 45 to 30. We had 8 assists and 3 turnovers in the second half to finish with more assists (13) than turnovers (12). NC A&T shot twos 1-13 in the second half. We had more bench points 18 to 0, and more fast break points 10 to 0. I wonder how rare it is to not allow any bench points or fast break points. We had more points in the paint 32 to 8, which means we had fewer points not in the paint 41 to 38. Here are the Analytics tab's leaders. In efficiency, Aranguren led with 20, Lamothe was second with 15, and Davis and Kalliontzis tied for third with 14. In game score, Aranguren led with 16.6, Lamothe was second with 12.6, and Davis was third with 12.3. In net points, Lamothe led with 14.4, Aranguren was second with 12.8, and Davis was third with 9.3.
Monmouth led by 1 at halftime before host Drexel won 71-61. Drexel's Yame Butler led all players with 20 points. Abdi Bashir Jr. shot 6-20 and scored 15 to lead Monmouth.
Northeastern came back from down 41-31 at halftime to win 70-68 at W&M. Northeastern's Rashad King made the winning shot with 4 seconds left that was a hard shot in order to shoot before the shot clock ran out. He led all players with 22 points and 6 assists. Harold Woods had 16 points and 13 rebounds to give him the only double-double in today's first three CAA games. Caleb Dorsey led W&M with 20 points, and did not miss a field goal or free throw. He became the ninth player this season to score at least 20 without missing any type of shot, and the first CAA player to do that since Delaware's Dyan Painter on February 1, 2020. W&M committed 25 turnovers. Each team had five players commit 4 fouls or at least 4 turnovers.
Key to this game was Speedy getting us to play more up tempo and run. They have no depth and their two big Greeks were gassed.
Like to see us run and press in DC to get more easy baskets as clearly we struggle to score.

The key to this game was playing NC A&T.
But hey, they get to play them again so they should be playing on Saturday.

Happy for German and Graham to get a nice moment to go out on in this miserable season. Both seem like great kids.
Can they build any momentum off this into next week?
According to DiPaoli in the pregame lounge chat, they applied for a waiver for German to play again next year.

As Speedy said yesterday, he's an OG now. With now-annual NIL-induced uncertainty, It would help to keep some continuity and have him back next year.
