Golden State Signed Eli Pemberton
Golden State Signed Eli Pemberton
https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/statu ... 6754865153 says Golden State signed Eli Pemberton and sent him to affiliate Santa Cruz. https://www.nba.com/warriors/news/warri ... n-20201219 is titled "Warriors Sign Free Agent Guard Eli Pemberton." He isn't on Santa Cruz's roster, so it must not be updated. Golden State has two former CAA players. Damion Lee played three seasons at Drexel and transferred to Louisville. He didn't get to play in the NCAA Tournament as a senior because of Louisville's postseason ban. Kent Bazemore played for Old Dominion and had three seasons of overlap with Jenkins.

Great news for both players. Hope they make it. We'll have to get new jerseys.
Speedy played for New Orleans in 2005-06.

Very happy for Pemba. Hes a real one.
I wonder if the Jewish population factored into JWF signing in Nola?

New Orleans has a vibrant Jewish community so if smart he will do plenty of outreach with them from start.Hofstra wrote:Very happy for Pemba. Hes a real one.

Yes he was
Re: Golden State Signed Eli Pemberton
ESPN had Jenkins as the best available player in the NBA Draft for a while. If Claxton didn't work for Golden State, who knows if Jenkins would have been drafted.

That shirtless picture of him looks like he is posing for GQ magazine Trust me he has a nice career after he is finished playing basketball

Preach Brother. The GOAT IMO. Started undergrad in 02. First one to lead me to the promised land. Forever that is my guy.Flying Dutchmen wrote:Proud of Eli, I don't know a guy who deserves this shot more.
My All Hofstra team for all those that care:
C: Adrian Uter

SF: Eli Pemberton
SG: Charles Jenkins
PG: Carlos Rivera
Sixth Man:
Desure Buie
Feel free to argue your wrong opinion if you disagree with this stacked team.
Re: Golden State Signed Eli Pemberton
lol good stuff Hofstra - high quality young man with a great family to boot - you picked a good one, and a good team, no doubt. A lot of history to consider though, me thinks there will be some other good thoughts to follow!
Considering HU's relative lack of postseason achievements, this program has turned out some seriously strong talent - it's amazing to think about it, as you've done Hofstra, really tough to pick an all-time team!! Think about guys like Stormin Norman, Stokes, Agudio, Green, JWF, etc just to name a few in just the modern era... it's impressive really.
For me I'm not putting anybody at PG other than Speedy (my version of 'Pemba' for you), Green, or Buie. Best real points in my time so far. Picking from that group, shoot, not sure I can lol. But I bet some of the true OG's have some input there from even prior to that...
6th man is another really great mental twister! Man Hofstra, got my mind racing now, too late at night for this, see ya tomorrow!

This is a great team and since we go back that far I like John Irving and Laurel(more of a guard) from that great team that played Notre Dame tough and Rood another big time scorer who would have loved to have played in the three point era. You could never leave Speedy off any team he was unbelievable hence his NBA career. JWF certainly one of my favorite players of all time but arguably you could create many great teams from the guys that have played for us. Don't forget Gittens a heck of a power player a real dunking machine and Norman Richardson, David Taylor who could score the basketball.HUSID74 wrote:My all-time Hofstra team.
