Overall, it was a great regular season, the reality is the margin of error is tight if they don't win the CAAT. Got to get this one done, we're the top team in the conference this year.

Re: Men's Lax 2017
The CAA announced postseason awards today, Josh Byrne is the Player of the Year and Ryan Tierney is the Rookie of the Year. Several other players were named to the 1st, 2nd, and academic teams. UD's Shillinglaw was the coach of the year, have to assume that was out of respect to him in his final season. Towson's coach would've gotten my vote for that. Someone should've taught Bobby Broyles how to pronounce "Tewaaraton" before he talked about Josh Byrne being on the list... it's the highest award for a college lacrosse player, definitely something a representative of the conference shouldn't get wrong.

Nice but all is lost if we don't win the CAA.
Re: Men's Lax 2017
I think Byrne, Tierney and the other winners would all trade their individual honors in a heartbeat for a CAA championship this weekend.

Looks like the only video available tonight is through Lax Sports Network, which is not free. Has anyone paid to watch a game on their site, is it a good enough service that the price is worth it, or should I stick with audio and live stats?

Down 5-2 in the second quarter, glad I didn't pay to watch this. We have absolutely nothing. Umass has scored immediately following 2 straight face-offs. we're doubled up in shots (almost 3 times for shots on goal), and 2-9 on face-offs. How does this team have the same major problem every single game with literally no improvement? Hard to win if there are zero adjustments.

Different year, same end of season disappointment that we've all grown to expect. Pitiful performance so far, I think the team's been on defense for about 90% of the game, and when they finally get the ball, they turn it over. Well on the path to continuing the longest NCAA tournament drought this program has ever seen, hard to believe they were #2 in the nation just a few weeks ago.

That had to be the most Hofstra ending ever.... Tie it up after a huge deficit and literally lose at the last second. SMH.
Re: Men's Lax 2017
We learn how to lose in so many different ways. Hofstra is cursed
