Interesting 2027 Roster. (a bit of speculation here) Only 1 returning player in our Top 10 - Decady 3 7'0" footers - with experience 2 players (class) listed as 6th (year) Looks like a few athletic - players have been added (Onwughai; Blaske; Jefferson; Gelin; Thomas) Almost half the roster fro...

Michigan State, Gonzaga, Purdue, Kansas, Houston

Prior years we played Houston and Purdue … Gonzaga would be cool

A few hype practice videos and I'm officially very excited for this season. Biggie was a pretty big x-factor for us last year... I see Decady in that position this year. The hope is he can take his All-CAA defense and continue to make a jump on the offensive end. It's not too hard to see him furthe...

How about another local - played strong DI - played in the pros - experienced big man - had a few stints as an assistant coach after his playing career - great communicator (been doing HU color commentary - these past few seasons) -

ZENDON HAMILTON

Why not???

Someone said this last year; once the season ends, every player is in the portal. I don’t know why it even has to be announced at this point. Obviously it seems like everyone is gone, but I’m still holding out hope we can keep the band together for one more season, being a winner still has to mean ...

This situation is hard for us, especially for mid-major programs, and honestly, it’s making things messy for college basketball as a whole. I don’t hold any player responsible. These days, there’s a lot of money and not many rules or true loyalty, so things are wide open. The days of 'dancing with t...

You know have a super gigantic ice cream dish
We call it the Silas Sunday!

Or get Irish band U2 - to modify their anthem "Sunday Bloody Sunday" to Silas Bloody Sunday as his walk up (or out) song

Hard to argue anything here about Gillen. But I do think Dave Ryan has done an excellent job calling pxp for the CAA tourney over the years for CBSSN. He's a real pro, honestly a higher level broadcaster than anyone ESPN would likely put on the CAA if they had it. I appreciate the excitement he bri...

I suggested holding an event on campus
Maybe some of us can also send him emails or call him encouraging him to make this happen

THAT'D BE COOL

Going to try to keep this simple. Congratulations! This was a fun season. After the Iona game - when we were blown out in the first 10 minutes - I felt like we had a different team this year—more athletic and more cohesive - and did not give up. To the players, congratulations on coming together as ...

I concur- he was bad to the point of being embarrassing! One cliche after another, like a watered down Bill Raftery, without any of the charm or insight. He must have called for a double team ten times! At one point he said Speedy played for Pecora. Ugh! However...no one's going to rain on this par...

A win is a win, even if it was an ugly one. When Cruz got going in the second half, it showed what he can do and what’s needed of him when we need points. But after the Cruz isolation, some our other players passed up easy shots, which I felt let Towson focus more on Cruz and allowed to get Towson b...

Pretty impressive - keep it going boyz - Roll Pride!!!

DP86, appreciate the question and the thoughts from your end. I don't necessarily agree with all the bullets you've listed though. I do agree he's a solid PPG game guy, and an efficient shooter... better efficiency than most we've had. TT, all due respect to him as one of us, but he was atrocious i...

they are the worst, Newsday.

Another season is in the books. I was really impressed by how this team came together and the quality of basketball they showed me. The CAA was much tougher this year than I thought it'd be, and we got to see some great games at the Mack. This might not have been our strongest HU team, but they gave...

There are definitely some spots to fill, but if we get Victory, DeCady, Cruz, and Edmead back, we'll be in a pretty good position heading into the 2026-27 season. I think Roberts might be a candidate to transfer, but based on what we know, he actually got more playing time than most expected. Even ...
