Don't forget Jason is second in charge responsible for player development which means physical training and conditioning mot involved really in game strategy and game coaching.

I believe speedy has roots here on the island-home-kids and other family members. I am sure he is in good shape financially with all the money he made in the pros.I don't think he would move to Phlly

Polito, you know he can't do that because of various NCAA rules among other competitive reasons and to safeguard the kids info as well.

By the way I sent coach a congratulatory email and he replied with thks and says he is livin the dream.

Gary, I believe it could be either but as coach says it is more important as to who finishes.

Polito don't forget the 2 freshman guards coming in. although probably used sparingly in the beginning may get more playing time depending on how they perform.

have to diagree bobe13. Gustys averaged 5+ ppg last year with miimal minutes played. Had 4 games with over 10 pts. With more PT, good health, and another year expereince, I see him exceeding double digits most games. his points will obviously not come on all shots that he creates, but he will pick ...

I had no idea that Gustys injury hampered him all season. He simply appeared to be getting better as the season went on.....I attributed that to him getting more game expereince. Hopefully Koons turns out to be another Bill Bradley who by the way played under Butch Van Breda Kolff at Princeton. For you youngsters on the board Bill went on to a storied career for the Knicks and Butch was our coach for a few years.

I have a concern that we are overloading on two and one year transfer players. These seem like stop gap desperate measures since we didn't get the freshman recruits we wanted. I believe next year we will have either four or five openings due to graduations.
