Delaware finally hires a head coach, former Notre Dame assistant Martin Ingelsby: https://www.sny.tv/college-recruiting/n ... /179954034

Now all he needs is a team to coach.

Great stuff for Boals, has proven himself to be a pretty good coach - and another great coaching change for HU!

Love it, keep 'em coming opponents!!

If Farrelly can get it, go - I like the guy a lot, know he loves the game and the players, would put his heart and soul into that gig.

And this would actually nicely open up a spot in the HU assistant ranks to bring in a DEFENSIVE guru who can coach bigs and recruit. I would be all for it.

There might be one or two players we would have some interest in picking off from SBU - JM raved about Miles, their freshman guard

As the world turns the old revolving door at this time of the year. If Farrelly moves up good for him I'm sure he deserves it and if it behooves us even better picking up players who transfer.

Wow. Does Coen have the longest tenure? With Joe M right behind?

I think they were going to stay with him until the three transfers....speculation that our old "friend" Tony Shaver may land there.

UCLA pulling out all the stops now. They miss all the National championships they used to win.

On the Stony Brook forum, a couple posters mentioned Speedy as a candidate they'd like. I doubt that would ever happen.

Not gonna happen.

But they should do whatever it takes to hire Pecora IMO. I'm sure he'd like to he a HC again, and the man can recruit well enough to win that league.

Coen has 13 seasons, followed by Pat Skerry with 8, and Mihalich is third with 6.

And why not? Hofstra is not the only job out there. He may want to be a head coach now and Joe will probably be at Hofstra at least another three years.

Speedy could go to SBU for three or so years then come back to Hofstra when Joe retires

Not a surprise, easy choice. The players were behind him.
