New President
Does anyone have an update on whether Rabinowitz is stepping down and/or whether a search for a new president is underway? While I'm sure the pandemic as effected that process, I'm not sure how. Any news?

As far as I know everything is still on schedule for Rabinowitz to step down as president in June. If that is case I would think they would want to have a president-elect in place by early 2021 so there could be a proper transition. Unlike in December 2000 though when Rabinowitz was announced as new president, I have seen no Newsday articles outlining any possible candidates so everything is a mystery. Given the enormous challenges amid COVID-19, I wouldn't mind if Rabinowitz stayed on another year, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards.
