Detroit's Antoine Davis, who was helped by getting to play for five seasons, scored 22 points on 7-25 shooting last night in the Horizon League Quarterfinals. With 4 seconds left, he missed a shot that would have tied the game and let him tie Pete Maravich's career points record. Detroit is 14-19, so they are not expected to be invited to the CIT or CBI. Davis finished with 3,664 points, and Maravich scored 3,667.
