Great video of him and am excited for the additional depth on faceoffs. I shared on media thread earlier, but in case people missed it I recommend checking out this new podcast with Doug Shanahan http://turnonthejets.com/2017/08/episod ... more-37806 starting at 4:45 mark about his experience nearly making the Jets in 2002. Some incredible stories including how he at first practice Herm Edwards applauded him in front of whole team for bringing home gold with Team USA in the World Lacrosse Championships in Australia shortly before training camp. This is part 1 of a two-part podcast.

Congratulations to Josh Byrne, MLL's Rookie of the Year. His 39 goals in just 9 games led the MLL this season and established a new rookie scoring record:

Yes he will be. https://twitter.com/NLLBandits/status/9 ... 1886779392

Not too shabby of a year for Mr. Byrne, CAA Player of the Year, Major League Lacrosse Rookie of the Year, and now the #1 draft pick for the National Lacrosse League.

Per Hofstra's release, he's HU's first #1 draft pick in any sport. I know we've had the #2 pick before.

Would gladly trade Monmouth and StJohns for Hopkins and Princeton or Cornell. No Ivys

Wish Princeton was still on schedule, but replacing them with Villanova is great, Also love adding Lehigh and opening with Ohio State. Overall a very solid schedule.

That's a pretty good schedule IMO, got some nice bigs, some good regional matchups, good home games, etc. Do agree on the desire to have a strong Ivy in there, but no major issues for me at first look, seems pretty solid all around.

Course, the schedule has not really been the main problem...
