Fios1 did a nice feature on the team, with interviews with Seth and Ryan Tierney, Josh Byrne, and Jack Concannon.

Nice job The players seem focused and all business. This season seems to have a different feel to it than in past seasons.

Big game this weekend. Delaware just knocked Rutgers from the undefeated and a no. 1 ranking. Surely they are licking their chops at the prospect of knocking us off as well.

The Hens also lost their first CAA game, to UMass, 9-6.

Quint interviewed team captain Tommy Voelkel and I like his answers, especially compared to some of the seniors on other teams Quint talked to to.

I don't think we've won a face-off yet in the second half... Horrible effort at the x today, we've only won 4 of 16 at this point. We hold an 8-5 lead after 3, and i'm not feeling good about the 4th quarter since the Blue Chickens already outscored us in the third, and the 4th is always our worst.

My sentiments exactly ProufofPride.. 8-6 now.. This is the quarter of death for us. We need to get this W.

8-7 now, and to no one's surprise, Delaware won the face-off after the last goal. Terrible second half effort so far. We were up 7-2 early in the third, and since then we've been outscored 5-1.

Big power play opportunity now. Lets score a goal and give us a cushion.

Got close again at the end but we hang on for the 11-9 win. Faceoffs are killing us again.

10-0!

I guess 11-9 is just the magical score this year... How many games have had that score so far?

Penn State just lost to Maryland, Hofstra is officially the last unbeaten team.

To answer Proud of Pride, there are five wins this year for the HU lax team with the 11-9 score.

Another close one but the Pride led pretty much the whole time, which is encouraging. Need to figure out a solution at faceoff before we lose because of it. Alex Woodall, Towson's FO man, is one of the best out there, and that's a must-win.

This team may give you heart palpitations but they knob how to win... they may let up early in fourth quarters but they do not blow leads... this team is special, time to jump on the bandwagon all you doubters

Wasn't able to watch it, but it looks like Clarke went 0fer at the spot before he was switched out.

Based on this writeup, we don't want to be number 1. Syracuse can have that spot, I think we'll be ok settling for number 2.

Has Hofstra ever been #1 in any sport? I don't think so. Would be huge for the school and athletic program.
