Congratulations to Ameen Tanksley and Zeke Upshaw on being drafted by NBA D League teams:

The D league also has a Long Island team that I believe will play at the Nassau Coliseum.
NBA D League Teams Draft Hofstra Players
Re: NBA D League Teams Draft Hofstra Players
Awesome, congrats guys, go get 'em!
Ah, Upshaw, the young man who helped usher in the new coaching era - absolute diamond in the rough - his recruitment (which was a big ? considering his total lack of production his entire career at Illinois St) and proper usage in this system is what made me a believer in what this staff could do
That went on to Nesmith and then Koon... 3 fantastic late/grad transfers in a row that all made big marks here
Upshaw clearly has a lot of love for HU as evidenced by his twitter - and for good reason - JM and HU are the reason he was able to show and prove his talents to the point of continuing play post-college
All the best to him and Tanksley!

I noticed that, I thought Juan'ya was in Greece playing for GS Kymis, is he back or just on break?Cards wrote:Both Tanksley and Green were in the stands at Midnight Madness.

Yeah, it will be the Long Island Nets, and since D-League players can sometimes bounce around a lot, maybe Zeke and Ameen can end up playing across the street from Hofstra and eventually in the NBA, at Barclays (which will actually be the home for Long Island Nets this season, then they'll move to the Coliseum for the 2017-18 season). They LI Nets start play on 11/11; first home game at Barclays is 11/23.Jojogunne wrote:Congratulations to Ameen Tanksley and Zeke Upshaw on being drafted by NBA D League teams:

Zeke Upshaw (a.k.a. ZU) returns to Long Island next Sunday, Nov. 12, when the LI Nets host the Grand Rapids Drive at 3 p.m.
Interestingly, the Drive have two players named Zeke:
