what an absolute stud. Counting the minutes until he’s in a Hofstra uniform. Until then, you better believe he’s still drawing attention from the big boys.

I'm anxious to see him play on the D1 level but we'll see how his game translates to the college level. These are gaudy stats but we should temper our expectations a bit. Let's hope he gets playing time with all the guards we have on this team. I wonder if our team is intact or will we see more transfers both in and out?

This is starting to remind me of another one of our past recruitments... SPEEDY!

If I remember correctly (and tell me if I'm wrong), we grabbed his commitment before his senior year, at which point he skyrocketed up his output and pulled a LOT of big boy interest despite having an LOI with us.

I'm not saying Jaquan is going to play 30 minutes a game and make a huge impact his first year, but I bet he finds a way to see the floor a good amount and I think he'll be the next in our long line of amazing guards.

Yes indeed. Hearing that a lot about him. I’m sure Speedy is the reason why he’s coming here.

These numbers look great for Carlos but I'm worried as they are coming against the lowest league in the psal in a shortened season. Why isn't he on Campus yet?

Good GRACIOUS, is this for real??!?? I mean HOLY SMOKES, 1 fluke happens, but this is 3 monsters in a row - don't even know what to think quite frankly lol - the kid is no question a stud, but this is absolutely bananas - are these opponents that far below in skill level??

This is not even Speedy-esque, it's beyond that. But it's so far above the norm I'm honestly not even sure what to make of it!

I'd love to know what the rest of his team is doing while he's going off for these big numbers. This is over the top nuts and what was the final score? I'd imagine that Jefferson scored way over 100 points in this game. Like has been said who or whom was guarding him.

Final score was 141-81. Hell with 91 points i'd be impressed if he was doing it against middle schoolers. That's a lot of buckets.

Yeah clearly D optional but those numbers are off the charts. This has to be a total schoolyard like game to score that many points. This kid can score but can he play D. JWF deficiencies kept him on the bench for a WHILE until he proved to the staff he could stop someone. If u watch Jaquan's video's he is such a prolific scorer from deep 3's to mid range to consistently taking it to the rack. It will be real interesting to see what he can do on the college level.

What makes this more impressive Is I believe high school has 8 min quarters so this was all done in 32 total minutes

This is incredible. He's dropping 3's all over the place.

The PSAL can't be THAT weak right? Didn't JWF and many of our other alums come from there?

Does this start to become a bigger nationwide story?

It seems the PSAL redid the divisions this year; I am assuming something due to Covid. It looks like tomorrow is the best opponent they will face in their division. Will see how he plays verse them.
