Drexel is currently shooting 57% in the second half, since we can't defend them without committing a foul.
At least the refs seem to be equally horrible on both ends though.

Nice game - nice to see our redshirting players at the game - don't think they can travel to road games (not sure but I think that) - guessing tourney's aren't considered road games - nice win - Walker with 18 minutes - saved minutes with our bench getting minutes 34 minutes (almost twice as many as usual) - everyone scored today! nice 1st half for Green/nice 2nd half for Bernardi

Big win, never trailed. It was a bit scary when both Walker and Gustys had 4 fouls each, but it was nice to see a win despite that. Now the team should get some rest and watch this next game between JMU and W&M to scout tomorrow's opponent.

That's cool of you.

Hope Drexel bounces back soon and they restore that good/fun rivalry they had before with HU.

They know going in that it'll be more physical in a tournament setting. Let the players play and let them decide it. That said, Drexel did commit some needless & careless fouls, especially in the second half.

Tonighy, Hofstra will be dreaming of having some man-buns served with an extra helping of revenge on the side for lunch tomorrow.

Both Hofstra's recap and Drexel's recap had Green's statistics wrong. http://gohofstra.com/news/2016/3/5/mens ... ath=mbball says "senior guard Juan'ya Green had 22 points, six assists and four rebounds" but it has the rebounds and assists switched. http://drexeldragons.com/news/2016/3/5/ ... fstra.aspx says "the CAA Player of the Year finished with 13 of his 22 points in the first, and finished also with six points and four assists" when "points" should be "rebounds."

With us, W&M, UNCW, and NU all winning, the semifinal games are the exact same matchups as last year.

Formula for today seems simple: Gustys-Green pick and roll relentlessly. If Gustys doesn't take 12 shots that's a bad sign, this is the kind of game where he could show up and dominate.

We're getting outrebounded by these fools (15-8), and Gustys hasn't taken a shot yet. We gotta get him going... Tie game, 20-20

Ugh, outplayed at the end of the first half by the Cool Whip Factory, they lead 34-30. Gustys didn't attempt a shot the entire first half.

Gustys hasn't taken a shot, and we have taken 18 3s in 29 attempts because W&M is denying everything -- P&R with Green & Rok, all passing lanes. Only Ameen has been able to attack and get in the paint. Need Juan'ya to do that and they have to move the ball a little more to open the W&M D up.

Literally no defense in the 2nd half. W&M has a 47-43 lead and shooting 54% from the field, better than 83% in the second half. We're not playing like a team that wants to win.

Also, it would be great if we could stop turning the ball over and committing stupid fouls. We're shooting ourselves in the foot.

Could you write a better script??? Our four transfers stepped up in what threatened to be their final game and willed the team to win. A gutsy performance against a W&M team with a great game plan. The definition of a gutsy win. I'm very proud of this team, and kudos to Joe for being the architect behind a well-rounded team. Keep it up boys!

Sweet, sweet victory. Ugly game on all accounts, and Gustys' offensive was basically non-existent. Fantastic win. On to either Nu or UNCW!

I felt like I was watching the same exact game from last year, except on my couch instead of in the arena. We can correct any little thing that we want, but the fact is that Hofstra knows how to make us almost have a heart attack every single game, but they got the payback that they deserved and we're moving onto the finals! Something no Hofstra team could do since 2006. Sweet victory. Great team with a great chemistry. Can't wait for tomorrow :D

Not the most prettiest win but definitely a satisfying one. It was great to take another one from the Tribe and to spoil their party. it is encouraging that even with almost no offensive contribution from RG we were able to get the W. Hopefully he will be on his game tomorrow .Looking forward to tomorrow night. I'm rooting for NE. UNCW scares me a little. Go Pride.
