SBU lost to Md. in the finals a few years back with what I thought was much the better team due in part to a ludicrous disparity in the fouls/infractions called; favoring Md. The pedigrees do invariably get the benefit of the doubt.

It was the quarterfinals, not finals. Stony Brook had an 11-7 lead midway through the second half and Maryland stormed back to win 13-12. I was very relieved as a Hofstra fan who roots against our Long Island rival.

Down 10-6 to Fairfield at the half. Hofstra better play with some purpose in the second half or their season is over. Fairfield is 0-6 in conference.

Hofstra with perhaps their best quarter of the season comes back and its 13-13 after 3. 15 minutes left. Now lets put away this team. First to 20 wins.

Great second half comeback to keep season alive. Now we need Drexel to beat Towson today in order to reach CAA Tourney. Hopefully that happens, but as we know from history you can never count on other teams to do the work for you so if we don't make it we have nobody to blame but ourselves.

Towson is out, we are in at #3 and likely face Drexel on Thursday.

What a gift with Drexel rallying to beat Towson to earn us a bid! We will be 4 seed facing top-seeded Delaware at 4. I plan to attend and this will be my first sporting event as fan since the pandemic ironically falling two weeks after my second vaccine shot. It will be tough task, but so thrilled they get a second life.

That's life in the CAA. One team takes an early lead, the other squeaks out a close win. Anyone can win this tournament.

Look at the Big 10. Michigan won its first playoff game today -- over its infamous rival, Ohio State.

If I am excited for the CAA Championships at Hofstra tomorrow, I can only imagine how pumped the team is.
There are a lot of 5th year seniors that have been here a long time. It seems like a really tight team meaning close knit, not nervous.
I hope they can put on a great effort. They have talent and Dylan McIntosh may be a real weapon added in the mix.
The past is ancient history and the next game could be the last for all involved so let it rip and great luck!!

No team is unbeatable If we can keep Kitchen from getting into our kitchen we can beat Delaware Drexel however we dont match up well against Two game season but lets get the first one tomorrow

Going to be very tough game but fact that Ryan was nearly held off scoreboard last time and we were still positioned to win is encouraging. Hopefully he is ripe for a big points day today.
