Yes it would be nice but the kid probably going thru plenty of trying times and honestly this kid doesn't look like the same kid that we saw in the first scrimmage where he was lighting it up from beyond the arc.
Regarding defense, it's a different team when your best player (Buie) is defensive minded, versus past teams where our best players have been all-time scorers. It sets the tone out there, and gets our supporting cast to step it up as well.

In the post game press conference it was mentioned that Pemberton was under the weather. Helps explain his performance. Hopefully he is ready to go strong on Thursday.
So, am I missing something with Silverio? Is there anything occurring that we should keep him in mind and help lift up his spirits? His play is horrific, and he is without a doubt a very talented player, so something is certainly up. Just curious if someone knows something I don't. Getting him going would be beautiful.
Feel better EP, hoping to bring the fam on Sat, ready for your show!
True pt on Buie, and his heir apparent Burgess will carry that torch strongly.

Polito, Happy New Year to you and your family. Hope to see you on Saturday.
Silverio's sister came down with some severe infectious condition. He missed a couple of games but was back on the bench for the two CAA openers on the road...played very little minutes.
Ah, got it, thank you - will keep them in prayers.
He's played like a hot mess, but not giving up on him yet - this kid is so talented, holding out hope - if he can get going at some point and be that instant O spark with Burgess bringing the pressure from the bench, HU's chances could increase dramatically IMO because of the relief from running 4 guys into the dirt all yr and during the CAAT.
Don't need a ton of bench production, but need to have enough to distribute a few quality minutes - that can be a diff maker for this club. Fingers crossed.

Agree totally...if he could give us 10-15 minutes and some scoring that would take a lot of pressure off the Big Three. Still plenty of time for it to happen.
