I always knew playoffs paid well, and football games were over the top $$$$$, but I did not realize these preconference MBB games could be so lucrative for a school.

I have no idea or clue what type of monetary benefit we get from playing a team like NCS as part of our early season schedule. Just curious, what type of "check" does HU get, and does it go to the university, the athletic dept, or MBB team??

I think you both raise valid points (jojo and polito). Its odd when you keep winning and your RPI goes up....its simply a matter of us having a SOS rating of around 300. So yes, you wonder how routing CSU helps us. Well, at least we do gain some confidence and as the season progresses into CAA play ...

You bring attention to a very important issue Stu. The university and athletic department support for the mens and womens BB teams has been phenomenal. A big part of that is the time and effort that Jeff Hathaway has invested. He deserves many thanks - Keep it up Jeff!!!!!

Agree with you gothamli - I think 10-3 at worst is reasonable for our OOC schedule. Moving into CAA play, however, I beleive we will only continue to be successful as long as the bigs are healthy. We will surely need them once we are up against the likes of Eatherton, Baru, Gettys, and a few others....
