Re: Estrada @ Alabama
Estrada could have stayed at Hofstra for his third season and been CAA POY and the Haggerty Award winner (again), but he did something better: he transferred to a top-flight program and is now receiving more attention from the pros than he ever would have back in Hempstead. This is Speedy's new &quo...

I'm surprised he stayed this long. Didn't really get much of a chance. I wish him the best.

I love these first-round upsets! No amount of NIL $$$ could help the Wildcats:

Would be a nice addition to our team. How much can we afford to pay him.

Re: NCAAT 2024 Thread
Alabama destroyed Charleston tonight, 109-96. At one point, the Cougars were down by 31 points. I hate to think what the Tide would have done to us. It was a big night for UA's Mark Sears, who led all scorers with 30 points. Estrada had a nice game, displaying his versatility with 13 points, 7 rebou...

Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
NIL is killing college basketball. Maybe the "student/employees" should pay for their tuition?

Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
Maybe we should focus more on high school and prep recruits, and let the big-money schools woo the portal transfers.

Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
I agree with Zman. Dubar has played well closer to his NC home. Also, Pitino runs a tight ship, and Dubar's inconsistency may keep him on the bench. Speaking of St. John's, former Iona PG Cruz Davis is now in the portal. He played only 26 minutes in 4 games for the Red Storm. Don't know what he woul...

Re: NCAA 2024 MBB Transfer Portal
I would think he would likely transfer to a conference with multiple NCAAT bids. He's a very talented player.

Re: NCAAT 2024 Thread
St. John's didn't make the cut and won't accept an NIT bid. Pitino would rather spend them time recruiting.
Do you think anyone from the CAA will receive an NIT bid? The selection show is in an hour.
